→ Hold the French equivalent of the “College patent”

→ Know how to approach a horse on foot   

→ Harness a horse for sports training 

→ Know how to use digital tools: Navigate on a web platform, use a smartphone…

→  Own a computer and a smartphone 

BLOCK 1 OBJECTIVES – EQUINE PERFORMANCE ANALYST

→ Know how to collect training data (install sensors and download data)

→ Analyze key parameters

→ Make relevant comparisons 

→ Have a basic knowledge of equine sports physiology 

 

BLOCK 1 CONTENTS

→ Basics of the cardiovascular system (functions, circulation, diagram, indicators…) 

→ The respiratory system (functions, anatomy, upper and lower airways)

→ Locomotion (mechanisms of the 3 paces, respiratory system, amplitude/cadence variations…)

→ Basic mathematics (reading a graph, units of measurement, classical calculations…)

→ Cardiac parameters (different heart rates, recovery, alerts and counter-performance indicators)

→ Exercise zones and qualification of exercise intensity (aerobic, anaerobic, lactic acids, active recovery…)

→ Locomotion parameters (locomotor profiles, acceleration strategy, regularity…)

 

ASSESSMENTS

The materials are divided into 2 chapters with several parts.
At the end of each part, you’ll find quizzes and exercises to assess your acquired knowledge.


A final assessment takes place at the end of the block!
